Laser Blended Vision
A Personalized Solution for Clear Vision at All Distances

Laser Blended Vision is an advanced, customized laser procedure that allows you to see clearly at near, intermediate, and distance, with both eyes working together.

Unlike traditional monovision LASIK or laser vision corrections, which simply set one eye for distance and one for near, laser blended vision uses a more sophisticated approach. The latter employs a minimal form of monovision, termed micro-monovision or minimonovision, combined with an advanced laser treatment algorithm to improve the depth of focus of the cornea and the optics of the eye. The result is a much more comfortable vision, with retained depth perception, better night vision, and much higher neuroadaptation, i.e. much better patient tolerance. Laser blended vision is suitable for nearsightedness, farsightedness, and mild astigmatism, in combination with presbyopia.

Types of Laser Blended Vision
PresbyMAX, PresbyOND, and co.

There are several  laser platforms offering laser blended vision, with the most popular being PresbyMAX (by SCHWIND) and PresbyOND (by ZEISS). They both work based on the principle of micro-monovision + extended depth of focus. They both maintain contrast sensitivity and binocular harmony, and are excellent for reading, screens, driving, and night vision. Both algorithms work in combination with Femto-LASIK, offering a blade-free, customized, minimally invasive, and highly effective option for all-around spectacle-free vision. Most patients enjoy excellent freedom from glasses for daily tasks. In some cases, low-power readers may still be needed for very fine print. Additionally, some patients might need a minor enhancement over time.
